Job summary Systems Administrator
Monitor, maintain, secure, and support all levels of the core IT infrastructure for our global enterprise spanning 60+ remote locations, data centers and cloud data centers.
Monitor the environment to ensure maximum security, stability, efficiency, performance, and integrity of global infrastructure resources.

Responsibilities • Work closely with IT peers and vendors to answer technical questions or resolve issues with performance and access.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Develop and deploy proactive solutions and setup alerts to ensure system stability across the organization.
• Maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce human intervention time on any tasks.
• Participate in testing of disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitor technical metrics that report the overall health of the infrastructure and establish baseline performance expectations.
• Monitor and maintain instances of on-premises and cloud infrastructure services.
• Physical installation of network and server gear into racks and upgrade hardware and software components as required.
• Monitor security and hardware logs and proactively work on problems before they are reported.
• Act as point of escalation and overflow for Support Technicians.
• Perform occasional scheduled maintenance on nights, weekends and provide 24x7 on-call coverage as part of an on-call rotation.
• Provide technical leadership and training to Support Technicians.
• Deploy servers and provide support to individual users to ensure the system works reliably and quickly.
• Administer and support core Microsoft and Linux technologies.
• Install and Configure Windows Servers and Linux Server.
Requirements • Ability to function autonomously and use good judgment in a fast-paced, global environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply these skills to identify and resolve anomalies in system functionality and performance.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new software, applications, and technologies.
• Demonstrated experience diagnosing and troubleshooting system problems in a complex and varied systems environment.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Responsible, highly reliable, organized; able to work individually and collaboratively with peers and users.
• Three or more years of experience in a technical support role.
• One or more years supporting users in Microsoft 365.
• One or more years supporting telephony and Unified Communications technologies (Microsoft Teams).
• Exposure to hybrid cloud integrations.
• Basic PowerShell scripting skills.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject, or four years' progressively increasing responsibilities in an IT Infrastructure role.
• Minimum of one of the following Industry Certifications desired: O365, MCSA/E, CCNA.
• Windows/Linux administration.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Window domains and file permissions structure.
• Experience with installation and maintenance Windows 2012 servers and/or newer.
• Experience in a hybrid Microsoft environment (on premise and Azure).
• Group Policy design, configuration Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration.
• Experience in an Azure Active Directory (AAD) environment.
• Administration experience in Office 365 and Azure.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, ability to configure, secure, install, update, troubleshoot, and apply patches when required.
