We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cost Accountant or Chartered Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting principles, cost analysis, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform cost analysis to identify and eliminate inefficiencies in manufacturing processes.

2. Analyze production costs and recommend cost-saving strategies.

3. Develop and maintain cost accounting system, including periodic cost allocations.

4. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

5. Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and reduce costs.

7. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

8. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

Requirements:

1. bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

2. Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification preferred.

3. 3-4 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

4. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

8. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
