Role & Responsibility

1. Prepare & maintain cost sheets & BOM of all the products and update them in line with movement in actual cost

2. Verify the product costing shared by Manufacturer towards each purchase consignment before releasing the payment

3. Verify & decide on the “Advance Payment” requests submitted by Supply Chain/Brand Team, keep a track & ensure timely settlement

4. Evaluate product costing & margin of new product launch as well as existing products and highlight the outliers which could influence decision making

5. Track the cost & usage of inputs purchased by the organization PL or by Manufacturers on behalf of the organization in coordination with Supply Chain team

6. Track actual consumption & wastage of RM/PM vs agreed benchmark and report the variance in coordination with Supply Chain team

7. Costing reconciliation with all the manufacturers

8. Coordinate with Own/Manufacturer’s Accounts team for ledger reconciliation of all RM/PM/SFG/FG suppliers and closure of unreconciled items

9. Handle Internal/Statutory audit queries pertaining to product costing & resolve the findings

10. Liaise with Supply Chain & other cross functional teams in maintaining inventory & cost control 11. Prepare any other data/report as & when required

Attributes:

1. CA/CWA with similar experience in manufacturing business preferably from BPC/FMCG/Pharma sector

2. Command over MS Office package, especially Excel & Power Point

3. Should be versed with the costs, payment mechanisms and duties/taxes involved in Domestic & Import procurement transactions

4. Able to liaise with cross functional teams involved in procurement of RM/PM/Traded goods & internal/manufacturer’s accounts team
