Job Title: Assistant Manager - Costing and MIS

Location: Jhagadia, Ankleshwar

Company: For one of our esteem Chemical Manufacturing client having large Operations in Jhagadia as well as some of its Operations Sites are located in other parts of the Country.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team at Jagadia, Ankleshwar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the costing activities and managing the Management Information Systems (MIS) for our company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain costing systems for accurate product costing and pricing strategies.

2. Analyze cost variances and provide insights to improve cost efficiency.

3. Prepare budgets and forecasts in coordination with various departments.

4. Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and provide commentary.

5. Implement and maintain the Management Information Systems (MIS) to support decision-making processes.

6. Generate reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to management.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure data accuracy for MIS reporting.

8. Identify areas for process improvements and automation in costing and MIS functions.

9. Support internal and external audits related to costing and MIS functions.

10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in costing and MIS.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. ICWA/CMA

2. Proven experience in costing, financial analysis, and MIS roles.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and MIS reporting tools.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

7. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.

8. Knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial modeling techniques.
