Role Description

We are looking for a Engineer Manufacturing Design for a full-time, on-site position in Coimbatore. You will be working on projects for US clients.

As a Engineer Manufacturing Design, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting Manufacturing Design and Industrial Engineering activities for new and current products
• Operational analytics and dashboarding
• Preventive Maintenance & Maintenance record keeping and management
• Working on projects and working with clients to manage work and delivery
• Applying expert knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Process Planning, PFMEA, Control Plan, DFMA, Facilities Layout, Line Design, Standardized Work, Factory & Process Automation, Sequence of Events development, Mixed Model Line Design, Digital Manufacturing, Factory Automation - Robotics, PLCs, Tool and Fixture Design
• Performing other activities as needed

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Automobile or Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering or related field
• 1+ to 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering design and product development
• Working knowledge with CAD/CAM software, robotics, automation, and process simulation tools a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, and quality teams
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies is preferred.
• Solid Works or related CAD software experience prefered.

The compensation will be commensurate with your background and experience.
