About the Role :

As an Engineering Manager, you would be expected to have 12-15 years’ experience in Electro-Mechanical Product Development like LV/MV Switch gears & have hands-on experience on 3D modelling from the preliminary concept sketch using SolidWorks or Inventor. You are expected to have handled a team size of at least 15+ members.

You are Expected to:  

• Have a strong experience in designing low and medium voltage switch gears. Having arc resistant switch-gears would be an added advantage.
• To have hands-on experience in Design calculations , structural and thermal analysis. Proficiency in selecting electrical breakers/components and preparing BOMs.  
• Possess experience in material selection to meet safety, functional and cost requirements.
• Have good awareness of arc resistant regulatory standards and test requirements.
• Have Excellent Knowledge on North American standards like UL, NFPA, NEMA, ANSI/ASME Y 14.1.
  

Requirements

You Will be a Great Fit, if you:

•   Have B. Tech/M. Tech/Ph.D . in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Have 10 plus years of experience in the design of electrical control panels, MV switch gear panels, motor control center (MCC), and power control center (PCC)  panels.
• Have comprehensive understanding of cable sizing, bus bar sizing, cable routing , and related areas.  
• Hold 8 years or more in Electrical Product Design for Manufacturing (OEM). This is a Mandatory requirement.  
• Have 3D CAD skills-Specifically SolidWorks or Inventor .
• Demonstrated knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods. Exposure to FAT would be an added advantage.

• Flexibility for occasional international travel, often on short notice.
• Provide frequent reports on progress status and roadblocks, ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders.
