We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to provide strategic support for our network of 5 Advanced Technology centers / Focused on Manufacturing Technology within the TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) ecosystem. This role will act as a central point of contact (SPOC) for management and government departments, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of training programs, maximizing student placement success, and maintaining compliance with government regulations.
Responsibilities:
Provide Strategic Oversight and Support:
- Collaborate with center managers to implement operational strategies thatenhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of training programs.
- Analyze center performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, andrecommend process improvements.
- Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in TVET andmanufacturing technology.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives across thenetwork of technology centers.
- Oversee budget planning and allocation for the technology centers.
Government Relations and Compliance:
- Foster strong relationships with government departments involved in theTVET ecosystem.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for government inquiries,program approvals, funding, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure training programs adhere to all government regulations andreporting standards.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required by government partners.
Student Placement and Employer Relations:
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize student placementopportunities in the manufacturing industry.
- Build relationships with potential employers and industry partners.
- Collaborate with center managers to support student placement activitieslike resume writing, interview preparation, and job search skillsworkshops.
Support Center Operations:
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to center managers on operationalbest practices.
- Conduct regular operational reviews at technology centers to identifyareas for improvement and offer solutions.
- Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing between differenttechnology centers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field(preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 yearsdirectly related to the TVET ecosystem or vocational training delivery.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing operational strategies forefficiency and effectiveness.
