Job Description - Quality Management Specialist

Company Description

Aumnatic Systems Pvt Ltd is an Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) Startup based in Navi Mumbai. They specialize in engineering design and quality manufacturing with a focus on sectors including Transport, Medical Devices, and Toys. Aumnatic has developed and deployed hardware devices used in transport ticketing, such as Ticket Validators and Digital Ticketing Kiosks. They have also partnered with leading companies in the medical devices field and are the first and only Indian company manufacturing electronics for the Toys industry in India.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures for electronics Design & Engineering, assembly, and testing processes for electronics products
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with design teams to review product designs for manufacturability and quality, providing input on design improvements where necessary.
  • Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to prevent defects and non-conformities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality control processes, test results, and inspection records.
  • Lead investigations into product non-conformities, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide training and support to production staff on quality control procedures, equipment operation, and best practices.
  • Communicate regularly with customers regarding quality issues, complaints, and resolution plans to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to electronics manufacturing and quality assurance.
  • Implement 5S, Kaizen, lean Manufacturing, QCD goals, 5W 2H, 7QC tools.
  • Provide CAPA and 8D reports internally and to customer 
  • Maintain cost of poor quality (Rework, Rejection, scrap & waste), NC report, customer complaint sheet and deviations. 
  • Develop testing methods and strategies and maintain PPM. 

Qualifications:

  • BE / BTech in relevant stream
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within the electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics, assembly techniques, and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., IPC standards).
  • Proficiency in using quality control tools and equipment such as callipers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated testing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
