Hybrid Working 
Structured hybrid role:    
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home.  We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

Introduction 
•    Member of the Pune Technology Team
•    Responsible to work on automation of work carried by operations team.
•    Technical leadership for at least one application
•    Hands-on development across the applications

What will you be doing?
•    Accountable for creating project deliverables that meet or exceed the expectations of the project stakeholders.  Co-ordinates with team members, including those from suppliers and external vendors
•    Overall accountability and end-to-end delivery management for a set of technology related initiatives as defined by our business and portfolio framework
•    The role will require work to be undertaken on multiple projects/releases at a time, collaborating with Business Analysts, Designers and developers as well as support and Infrastructure teams during and for the release of software components within the project scope, ensuring quality and timeliness of the delivery.
•    Own and drive the Project planning framework, ensuring that plans are developed and tracked to appropriate standards, are integrated effectively across all work-streams, are unambiguous and achievable, and that dependencies are clearly understood and managed
•    Manage and co-ordinate projects, their interdependencies, and associated risks and issues, escalating to the engineering leads to ensure project delivery
•    Control the Project scope, ensuring that rigorous change control is exercised
•    Ensure that all Project status reporting is accurate, informative and timely, and directly provide progress reports.
•    Escalate for management intervention wherever gaps in the Programme/Project are identified or issues arise
•    Provide ongoing monitoring of the Project to confirm that delivery meets the Project's objectives and continues to make effective use of available funds and resources
•    Creates and manages detailed Project Implementation Plans, ensuring resources in place and outages agreed
•    Ensure all change record are submitted and closed within established timeframes
•    Conducts Go/ No-go meetings
•    Produces project implementation communications


What we’re looking for:
•    Minimum Qualification – B.E. / B. Tech or equivalent.
•    Must have experience of working in an IT project environment and an understanding of IT and business strategies. Experience gained from outside the Bank can be very valuable particularly large organisations and/or suppliers or manufacturers.
•    Must have previous experience of Managing projects in IT Organisation
•    Preferable to have release, delivery management experience in messaging/communications space
•    Must have specific technical knowledge in one or more aspects of the IT profession, i.e. technical design.  
•    Ability to work with an existing body of code (maintenance, feature additions, debugging, etc) and process Focused and make less dependent structures
•    Governance and compliance policies, standards, and procedures required to fulfil role e.g. data security, records management.

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Awareness of management information tools and systems 
•    Stay in tune with emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
•    Self-motivated personal development/training – including mandatory training
•    Ability to plan and manage own workloads
•    JIRA, Confluence, Java/Webservices
•    Be hands-on with data analysis and deep-dive data mining; investigate databases on a regular basis with a certain degree of proficiency in SQL
•    SDLC: Environment management, QA process, Reviews and checklists, lineage, promotions, backup and recovery, data area management
