Job Description - Manager - IT Sales

Job Overview : We are seeking a motivated and experienced IT Sales Representative with a strong background in IT sales, specifically in selling software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting sales targets, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the software sales lifecycle. Key Responsibilities : Prospect and Lead Generation : - Identify and qualify potential clients through research, networking, and cold calling. - Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and leads. Sales Presentations and Demos : - Conduct product demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our software solutions. - Tailor presentations to address specific client needs and business challenges. Relationship Building : - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. - Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales process. Sales Strategy and Execution : - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets. - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns. Negotiation and Closing : - Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients to close sales deals. - Ensure all sales activities are documented accurately in the CRM system. Market Research and Analysis : - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions. - Provide feedback to the product development team based on client needs and market demands. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT sales, with a focus on software solutions. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Strong understanding of software sales lifecycle and processes. - Proficiency with CRM software and sales tracking tools. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details (ref:updazz.com)
