About the role:

You will be a part of the Brand and Communications team at Tiger Analytics. As a content expert, you will be responsible for creating, publishing, and sharing quality content that will provide information and inspiration to our people, our clients, and our community about data and analytics. You’ll act as both content thought partner and line editor, working with Tiger SMEs to create publishing strategies, develop strong storylines, and produce compelling stories. You should also be able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content, adhere to editorial processes, and work with a content team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), reviewers, and editorial team (internal and freelancers). With each project, you will strive to create an engaging, inspiring experience for our Tiger authors by helping them develop a powerful editorial product that will make an impact on our many audiences.

Responsibilities:

The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a challenging, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environment. The role will evolve as the company grows and explores new avenues of growth. Below are key aspects of the role that we see in the near future.

· Work with the content marketing team to build and manage the editorial calendar to maintain a healthy flow of thought leadership-driven content pipeline and coordinate with other content crafters to ensure standards. Review and implement process changes to drive operational excellence.

· Be a storyteller. Work with Tiger SMEs in shaping raw content (PowerPoint presentations, case studies, speaker notes) into different formats, creating editorial content, and publishing the same across Tiger blogging platforms, social media, website, and marketing collaterals.

· Develop content for blogs, articles, white papers, social media, videos, podcasts, and the company website.

· An understanding of how social media platforms work, and experience in digital marketing and campaign management is a plus.

· Build relationships with Delivery leads and knowledge experts, and become familiar with the publishing priorities of one or more industry/functional practices.

· You will stay updated with current business news and trends and have an appreciation of audience engagement practices and digital analytics.

· Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies. Include and optimize all content for SEO.

Edit and polish existing content to improve readability.

· Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.

· Identifying audiences’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.

· Measure impact and perform analysis to improve KPIs.

Desired Skills, Competencies & Experience:

· 5-7+ years in business writing and editing roles/journalism, including digital publishing or internal communications with exposure to several of the above responsibilities preferably in Analytics/Technology/Management consulting industries.

· Familiarity with different writing style guides and editing best practices

· Familiarity with WordPress, SEM Rush, Hootsuite, and other content and SEO management tools is preferred

· Keen eye for detail

· Comfortable working across various B2B content formats - long and short.

· Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Linguistics, or a related field (Master's degree, a plus).

· Tech-savvy with the ability to make complex technical matters easy to understand even for a non-technical audience.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to confidently and tactfully engage with senior staff and subject-matter experts; skill at achieving consensus and moving projects forward.
