Job Description - Marketing Lead

OYO is one of the largest hospitality/Accomodation player in the Indian market and among the largest in Europe . Traum Ferienwohnungen by OYO is a subsidiary of OYO Hotel and Homes. Traum operates a subscription business in Vacation Rental Space and is one of the largest online platforms in Germanyin this space.

Traum generates majority of its revenue by charging Annual subscription fees from homeowners in return of providinglisting on the Traum portals.For Homeowners, Traum’svalue proposition includes:

High traffic generatedby 200,000+ keywords ranked in top 3 rank on Google

High degree of control a homeowner has in selectionof type of guests

No commission which means that entire revenue from sales accrue to a homeowner

In recent months, we have added deeper value proposition for Traum homeowners by introducing Traum connect. Traum connect is a partnership with Belvilla , where Belvilla provides more visibilty for Traum homeowners across other portalslike Booking.com, Airbnb, Belvilla, Dancenteretc.

The business generated an EBITDA of ~10 mio Euros and is projected to grow by 50%+ in FY24. For FY25, the plan is to grow revenue by

Job Description:

As the marketing Lead, you will be responsible for entire marketing activities on the demand side and supply side of the platform.

On the demand side, the key objective is to drive inquiry distribution so maximize number of properties getting 5 or more inquiries, to maximize revenue from properties on performance base/commission base and to drive customer side initiatives like Insurance sales and activity sales.

On the supply side, the key objectives are to get new leads, win-back of churned clientsand sales of additional productto the existing supply base.

Key responsibilities under the role will includebelow key areas

Demand side:

  • Strategizing for SEO growth and planning for on-page and off-pageitems including technical changes, content creation,backlinking and PR
  • Driving growthof traffic from international websitesincluding “ apartments.com”,” “ “ and “
  • Improving of performance of email marketing including expanding the scope of email marketing, driving more opt-ins and improvingCTR/Conversion from email efforts
  • Budget allocationto different marketing campaigns including but not limited to paid marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, PR and Backlinks
  • Driving the paid marketing effort to improve the efficiency of campaigns and ensure enoughinquiries are generated across the markets
  • Work with the affiliate networks/partnerships to manage property level performance
  • Drive additionalinitiatives to increase traffic like launch of App and connectionwith GVR and Apple maps
  • To drive conversion side initiatives including but not limited to enhancingwebsite features, asset/property level performance management, launch of new products, data science drivenimprovement like sortingand ranking.

Supply side:

  • Develop email marketing strategies including personalization, campaigns, content to drive new listing additions,winback of churned clients and additional sales to existing clients
  • Working out strategies to generate more leads including lead scrapping, google marketing, displaymarketing , social media marketing, leads from sister companiesetc.
  • Working on funnel improvement to drive more registrations through online channels
  • Helping agency teams and private homeowner team with the right marketingmaterial which helps to improve sales
  • Social media management to drive more content driven leads
  • SEO management to drive more supplyleads including blogs and VermieterMagazin

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record in marketing management, preferably in Travel and Leisure space or in subscription business like Justdial,Magicbricks, Airtel, Vodafone,Practo etc.
  • The candidate should have led a team of at least 4+ people in the past
  • Working knowledge of SEO and techniques to optimize SEO is desired
  • Strong ability of analytical thinking, problem solving and drawing insight from data is a must
  • Proficiency in excel is a must for the role
  • Fluent in English(both written and spoken). Awareness of German language is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (if applicable)

Travelling : period travel to various European market depending on requirement
