<p>Pepper Content (www.peppercontent.io) is building a global content marketing platform that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 75+ content verticals and 150+ content categories.<br/><br/> Over the past 5 years, over 150,000+ freelance content creators have applied to be part of the Pepper network of which we work with the top 5% of talent, and on the other end we work with over 2500+ customers like Amazon, Adobe, Google, HDFC Bank, Adani, and majority of the startup ecosystem.<br/><br/>We are building a global SaaS-enabled marketplace for enterprise customers that helps marketers manage all their activities ranging from content creation to workflow management and content distribution.<br/><br/> We are looking to hire a Director of Marketing at Pepper focussed on the US market.<br/><br/> This role will primarily work in the US time zone.<br/><br/> Roles and Responsibilities:<br/><br/>- Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop clear and compelling messaging and positioning for our products, with a deep understanding of our technology, customers, and competitive landscape.<br/><br/>- Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead the planning, development, and execution of go-to-market strategies for new products and features.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative marketing campaigns.<br/><br/>- Market Intelligence: Be the expert on our buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to crush them.<br/><br/>- Content Creation: Create and execute a compelling content strategy that educates the market and advances thought leadership -including case studies, whitepapers, blog posts, and more.<br/><br/>- Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the necessary tools, training, and materials to sell effectively against our competition.<br/><br/>- Product Launches: Plan and manage cross-functional efforts for seamless product launches.<br/><br/>- Performance Metrics: Define, monitor, and analyze metrics for launched products to ensure strategic goals are met, using these data to influence future strategy.<br/><br/>- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively and manage stakeholders across the organization, including C-level executives.<br/><br/>Professional Experience and Education Qualifications:.<br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.<br/><br/>- 8+ years of experience in marketing within the technology or services industries.<br/><br/>- Proven track record of planning and rolling out successful product marketing campaigns.<br/><br/>- Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment is preferred.<br/><br/>Skills Required to be Successful:<br/><br/>- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, driving ideas from concept to execution.<br/><br/>- Must excel at problem-solving and have a strong decision-making capability.<br/><br/>- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create compelling narratives for internal and external audiences.<br/><br/>- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to interpret data and qualitative research and turn them into actionable strategies.<br/><br/>- Teamwork and Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, and building strong relationships across the organization.<br/><br/>- Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.<br/><br/>- Customer Focus: Deep customer empathy and ability to identify and prioritize customer needs.<br/><br/>- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and influence team members and stakeholders at all levels of an organization.<br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
