Angloverse is an early-stage edtech startup offering personalised IELTS and PTE classes to students pursuing a career abroad or professionals looking for migrating to foreign countries. We are a growing team based out of Kochi and are scaling to other cities in India. We are looking for passionate and driven IELTS trainers to join our team. Since our team is working fully remote, you can apply and work from anywhere! How your day will look like: Deliver exceptional IELTS Classes and constructive feedback for students (primarily Writing & Speaking modules). Be accountable for the students assigned to you - their grades, attendance, and engagement during lessons. Conducting and evaluating weekly mock tests. Active participation in team meetings and timely reporting of students' performance. Other ad-hoc tasks related to curriculums and classes. Skills Required: Good Communication Skills - we strive on keeping an informal classroom experience, so you should be able to keep the classes interactive and engaging. Problem-solving - you should be able to identify students' weaknesses and suggest the right approaches to improve their band scores. Empathetic - you might have students from varying English language levels and age groups, so you should be able to tailor your classes to suit them Good command of English and Hindi and has scored high bands in IELTS. Knowledge is Punjabi is preferred. We do not require prior experience (previous experience taking tuitions, TEFL/TESOL, or any other role where you have demonstrated these skills is considered a plus point) Our offer: Competitive Salary in line with the entry-level position Classes for up to 5 hours per day (Overtimes are available) Greater accountability - since this is an early careers role, it would help you learn student management and build invaluable soft skills.
