JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary responsibility of this role would be to lead the content creation and operations of the Magazine and help the team achieve its traffic and conversion goals. Knowing how to do keyword research, creating well-performing blog articles and managing a team are key to this role. We are looking for individuals who are creative, analytical and have a problem solving attitude.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the content calendar
• Ensure on-time, in-full delivery of articles and drive publishing
• Plan and manage all daily operations
• Collaborate with SEO Manager to determine the content strategy
• Analyse performance metrics: monitor and optimise performance to meet traffic, engagement and growth targets
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute AIs for improvement
• Edit and write (if necessary) content that is simple, engaging and SEO-friendly

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in English, Journalism or similar fields
• At least 8 years of experience in writing and editing digital content
• 4+ years of team management experience
• Excellent copywriting and editing skills
• Expert understanding of publishing tools like WordPress or an alternate CMS
• Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics is preferred
• Proficient knowledge of the home interiors landscape
