Communications Specialist - Work from home

Job Description: We are looking for a talented and experienced Communications Specialist to join our team at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited. This is a full-time remote position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As a Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote the company's brand and image.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the company's brand and image - Create engaging content for various communication channels including social media, website, and newsletters - Conduct research to identify communication needs and opportunities - Collaborate with internal teams to develop communication plans and messaging - Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and make adjustments as needed - Manage media relations and act as a spokesperson for the company - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communication - Work closely with senior management to ensure consistency in messaging and brand representation - Support other departments with communication needs as required

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications or related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and remotely - Resilient and passionate about communications - Excellent research and teamwork skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms - Experience with media relations and crisis communication is a plus
