A Quality and Process Head at Intellect is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of products or services. He/she will be responsible to develop, implement, and manage quality control systems, processes, and procedures to meet industry standards and customer expectations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions. The person will also plays a key role in maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and certifications, while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are
essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
 Manage quality team and guide them in ensuring on time deliveries with minimal defects and meeting Quality team KRAs.
 Create a culture of quality within teams and ensuring process compliance across all projects in the unit
(standardisation)
 Perform facilitation to project and product teams on quality processes
 Define new processes and templates, or tailor processes as required
 Spot issues early, so as to prevent or correct accidents in projects
 Perform audits of process compliance and identification of non-conformance; also guide quality team in
the same.
 Analysis of metrics, drawing of inferences and guiding teams for defect prevention & continuous
improvement
 Perform or guide project/ product teams in performing Root Cause Analysis of defects and other areas
 Quickly learn organizations peripheral expectations from Quality team (e.g. POC process)
Technology & software development understanding expectations:
 17+ years of experience in delivering software to customers.
 Understanding of technology and software development in new technologies like Java, cloud
 Understanding of tools such as Jira, Service Now, Confluence, Zephyr etc. and perform data analysis from
the same
 C-level reporting skills on project status and issues. Need to perform periodic reporting to management and project key stakeholders
 Understanding of standard frameworks such as CMMI and ISO 9k
 Familiarity of CI-CD process and tools (or ability to learn)
 Advantage if candidate has experience in process facilitation of Product Development (needs to be willing
to learn quickly if only worked in services mode)
 Good understanding of project/product production support processes
 Understanding of Project Management, Project Monitoring and reporting processes (PMP like
certification is an advantage)
 Understanding of software testing process and ensuring that projects adhere to required processes
Soft skill expectations:
 Good management skills to effectively manage Quality team
 Ability to maturely interact and communicate with leadership teams
 Ability to train and guide Quality team. Set directions and guide team to meet goals. Ensure unit& expectations from quality team (goals) are met.
 Create presentations and conduct training on quality to internal stakeholders / customers
