JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR VIDEO PRODUCER/EDITOR Indira Group of Institutes for their Virtual Learning Team is looking for a highly skilled and creative Senior Video Editor. As a Senior Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic video content. You will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos that captivate and engage our students. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in video editing and a keen eye for detail. Duties/Responsibilities · Edit and produce a wide range of video content, including academics videos, tutorials, and more. · Collaborate closely with the content managers to develop and execute video concepts that align with academic collaterals. · Incorporate feedback and revisions to refine video projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality. · Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and best practices in video editing and incorporate them into our work. · Manage video assets, organize files, and ensure the efficient storage and retrieval of video footage. · Stay updated on the latest video editing software and tools, recommending upgrades or new software as needed. · Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to optimize video production workflows. · Mentor and guide junior video editors/interns, sharing your expertise and helping them develop their skills. Required Skills/Abilities · Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong and diverse portfolio showcasing your work. · Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent. · Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques. · Strong storytelling skills and the ability to convey complex ideas through visual storytelling. · Creative thinking and the ability to bring innovative ideas to video projects. · Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time. · Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. · Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. · Strong communication skills and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback. · Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, and sound design is a plus. · Bachelor’s degree in film production, video editing, or a related field is preferred.
