About the role:

INVIDI’s Project Managers are exceptionally ambitious and communicative, hands-on individuals who excel working as part of an interdisciplinary team. Utilizing Agile project management platforms and a servant-leader style, the Project Manager should support one or more Agile engineering scrum teams on their journey of continuous improvement and value-driven product development.

The Project Manager facilitates all aspects of the team's planning, prioritization, and execution processes through coaching and mentoring of the individual team members and fosters an environment where individuals recognize and value the importance of team success.

The Project Manager will work closely with the cross-functional team/product owner to ensure high-quality software deliverables and assist in developing a rollout strategy.

The position will report directly to the Sr. Vice President - Global Deployment & Support and will be based in our Princeton, NJ location.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders


• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress


• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule 


• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques


• Report and escalate to management as needed


• Perform risk management to minimize project risks


• Conduct project review and creating detailed reports/pages/dashboards for executive staff


• Experience with leading project management software and tools (ex: MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence etc.)


• Coordinating internal resources


• Manage project progress and adapt work as required


• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope 

• Manage relationships with clients (internal /external) and stakeholders.


• Successfully lead projects working effectively with client personnel, partners, and third-party vendors as per project need. Provide regular project status to customers & internal stakeholders, tailoring communications to the appropriate audience.


• Collaborate with internal project delivery leads and project resources (e.g., Sales, Product, Development, Support etc.) on integrated planning and organization of projects.


• Facilitate resolution of issues and roadblocks, escalate when appropriate.

• Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation/ communications


• Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency


• Deliver on multiple projects at once, and manage resources accordingly

• Act as a mentor for junior members of the team and across the company; share knowledge and support other team members, and share lessons learned on challenging projects.

• Champion progress; act as champion of learning, process improvement, and project management within the company.


• Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary


• Use and continually develop leadership skills


• Assist other project leads with their projects as requested


• Train internally on project methodology


• Establish and work towards strategic goals for the team

• Drive timely project closure by ensuring completion of project sign off tasks (e.g., deliverable acceptance etc.).


• Respond appropriately to urgent customer support situations with quick and effective solutions to business problems.

• Other duties as assigned

You must have:

• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent


• 10+ years of senior project management experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering business value to customers using technology solutions


• Strong leadership skills

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

• Strong client management skills and the ability to work with customers to develop and manage an implementation plan.

• Experience with Cloud and on-premise application implementations and a good understanding of integrations, cloud deployments, product upgrades in a SaaS environment a plus.


• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision to meet project deadlines

It would be very good if you have experience in:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred


• Previous experience working in the software industry and understanding the software development process, especially with international teams


• Cable and/or satellite and/or TELCO MSO experience

Physical Requirements:

• INVIDI is a conscious, clean, well-organized, and supportive office environment.


• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer are normal.
