About the Role:

We are seeking a talented 2D Game Artist with expertise in stylized mobile game art to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. You will create visually enchanting characters, environments, props, and UI elements that define the aesthetic of our games. Your work will directly impact player engagement by blending creativity with technical precision in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Concept & Asset Creation:

Design stylized 2D concepts for characters, props, environments, and UI elements that align with the games artistic vision

Translate concepts into polished game-ready assets, ensuring adherence to technical constraints and art style guidelines

Collaboration & Iteration:

Work closely with art directors, 3D artists, and developers to maintain visual consistency and optimize assets for performance across platforms.

Iterate on designs based on feedback from cross-functional teams, incorporating analytics and player insights to refine art.

Technical Execution:

Optimize assets for seamless integration into game engines like Unity, balancing artistic quality with performance requirements.

Ensure adherence to pipelines for art production, including asset organization and version control.

Artistic Leadership:

Contribute fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions and mentor junior artists to elevate the teams creative output

Requirements:

Experience:

Good experience in game art, with a portfolio showcasing stylized 2D art for characters, environments, and props

Proven ability to adapt to diverse art styles and themes

Technical Skills:

Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for asset creation

Familiarity with Unity for asset integration (preferred)

Artistic Fundamentals:

Strong grasp of color theory, composition, lighting, and casual game aesthetics

Understanding of UI/UX principles for mobile and web platforms.
