3D Modelling Engineer

• Model moderately complex machined, sheet metal, and composite parts.
  
• Create sub-assemblies and ensure proper digital mating and kinematic checks.
  
• Apply appropriate GD&T to 2D drawings for vendor manufacturing.
  
• Perform basic mass roll-ups and weight tracking for assigned subsystems.
  

Requirements

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.

0-4 years of experience in mechanical design and/or 3D CAD modelling.

Intermediate proficiency in CAD surfacing, working knowledge of GD&T as per ASME Y14.5, and basic understanding of PLM/PDM

Experience in modelling machined, sheet metal, and composite parts using 3D CAD is preferred

Experience in creating sub-assemblies, digital mating, and performing basic kinematic checks is preferred
