Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable microservices using Node.js, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway (or React AWS).
  

• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  

• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle — from requirements analysis to deployment.
  

• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  

• Work with AWS services such as S3, ECS, Lambda, Glue, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, IAM, and Athena.
  

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins/Bamboo, and automation tools.
  

• Ensure high -quality documentation of design, code, and deployment processes.
  

• Contribute to code reviews and agile ceremonies (stand ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  

• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high -performance cloud solutions.
  

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of hands -on development experience in Node.js with JavaScript and TypeScript.
  

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, ECS, Glue, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, IAM, Athena).
  

• Solid understanding of RDBMS, SQL queries, joins, and stored procedures.
  

• Proficient in CI/CD, build automation tools like Git, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
  

• Hands -on experience with unit testing frameworks such as JEST.
  

• Familiarity with Bitbucket, GitHub, Jira, Splunk, and PostgreSQL is a plus.
  

• Excellent problem -solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  

• Ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  

• Investment Management domain knowledge is an added advantage.
