Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Ab Initio Developer with strong expertise in ETL development, data integration, and data warehousing concepts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable data processing solutions using Ab Initio tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL applications using Ab Initio.
  
• Build and maintain Ab Initio graphs, plans, and reusable components.
  
• Work on data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from multiple data sources.
  
• Perform data analysis, data mapping, and validation activities.
  
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability.
  
• Collaborate with business analysts, database teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
  
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance standards are maintained.
  
• Participate in code reviews and documentation activities.
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Ab Initio ETL Tool
  
• Experience with GDE (Graphical Development Environment), Co>Operating System, EME
  
• Knowledge of ETL, Data Warehousing, and Data Integration concepts
  
• Strong SQL and database skills (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc.)
  
• Experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting
  
• Knowledge of performance tuning and job optimization
  
• Understanding of file processing, partitioning, and parallelism concepts
  
• Familiarity with scheduling tools like Autosys/Control-M
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
  
• Knowledge of Hadoop/Spark ecosystem
  
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
  
• Banking or financial domain experience is a plus
  

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  

Nice to Have

• Ab Initio certification
  
• Experience with metadata management and data governance tools
