We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio EME Administrator & Developer to support and manage enterprise data integration environments within our Software Engineering team in Pune, India. This role is responsible for administering Ab Initio Enterprise Metadata Environment (EME), maintaining platform stability and security, supporting development and release activities, and ensuring effective metadata governance. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and support teams to maintain reliable and high-performing Ab Initio environments while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Install, configure, maintain, and support Ab Initio EME environments.
Manage repositories, projects, sandboxes, branches, and version control activities.
Perform upgrades, patching, compatibility assessments, and environment maintenance.
Ensure high availability, performance, and operational stability of EME services.
Manage user accounts, groups, roles, and access controls in accordance with security requirements.
Support integration with LDAP and Active Directory authentication services.
Maintain metadata repositories and ensure data lineage, governance, and repository integrity.
Support check-in/check-out processes, branching, merging, and conflict resolution activities.
Troubleshoot metadata inconsistencies, repository issues, and environment-related challenges.
Support application migrations across development, testing, user acceptance, and production environments.
Collaborate with release management teams and contribute to CI/CD-based deployment processes.
Monitor platform performance, system locks, sessions, logs, and repository health.
Investigate and resolve deployment failures, user connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 operational support, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning.
Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate operational tasks, health checks, backups, and housekeeping activities.
Maintain operational documentation, access matrices, architecture artefacts, and standard operating procedures.
Support audits, compliance assessments, security reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
