Academic Counsellor

• Counsel students on educational concerns, including course and program selection and career planning.
  


• Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to represent the college and specific courses, including outstation travel and stays.
  

• Take complete ownership of the student admission journey, ensuring timely resolution of queries through emails, phone calls, etc.
  


• Perform reverse counselling for students considering similar courses at other institutions.
  

• Manage and update sales account details using CRM software.
  


• Record all successful and unsuccessful sales attempts on CRM for tracking and reporting purposes.
  

• Understand customer requirements thoroughly and pitch products/services accordingly.
  


• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly admission targets.
  

• Stay informed about competitor activities and devise strategies to acquire prospective students.
  


• Provide regular feedback and market insights to the marketing and school relationship teams for dynamic strategy development.
  

• Build strong and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to streamline admission processes.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (mandatory); Master’s Degree preferred.
  


• Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Counsellor or in a B2C Sales role within the education sector.
  

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  


• Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
