Academic Counsellors

Requirements

• Counsel students and parents about courses, academic programs, and career pathways based on their needs.
  
• Convert walk-ins, leads (via calls/emails/social media), and inquiries into successful enrollments.
  
• Maintain updated knowledge of partner institutions, course offerings, and admission procedures.
  
• Assist students with the application and admission process.
  
• Build long-term relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions.
  
• Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly counselling and admission targets.
  
• Record all counselling interactions and lead status in the CRM (Zoho/other tools).
  
• Participate in education fairs, webinars, and promotional activities to engage with prospective students.
  
• Collaborate with the marketing team to provide inputs on student engagement campaigns.
  

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
  
• Ability to understand academic requirements and guide students effectively.
  
• Knowledge of digital platforms, student lead management, and counselling tools.
  
• Goal-oriented, with the ability to work under targets.
