Role Overview

As an Academic Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting students through their educational journey. You will leverage your expertise in the EdTech space to provide personalized academic advice, foster student engagement, and contribute to the overall success of our programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Support: Provide academic counselling to students, helping them understand course offerings, career paths, and learning resources.
• Program Guidance: Assist students in selecting appropriate courses based on their academic goals and interests.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse student performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Engagement Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement and retention.
• Workshops and Seminars: Organize and facilitate workshops, webinars, and informational sessions on academic success strategies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with faculty and other departments to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
• Feedback Mechanism: Gather and analyse student feedback to enhance the academic experience and improve program offerings.
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic counselling or student support, preferably within the EdTech sector.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of e-learning platforms, educational technologies, and modern teaching methodologies.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using CRM and other educational management tools.
