Job Description - Account Executive (Sales)

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 1000000 - Rs 2700000 (ie INR 10-27 LPA)

Min Experience: 2 years

Location: Bengaluru
JobType: full-time

We are looking for a hungry, self-driven Account Executive to join our growing SaaS sales team. In this role, you will own the entire sales cycle, build relationships with mid-market e-commerce businesses globally, and close high-impact deals that drive our growth. This is a chance to join a dynamic startup, work closely with the leadership team, and make a measurable impact from day one.

What You’ll Own

  • Full-Cycle Sales: Take charge of the end-to-end sales process — from prospecting and outreach to demos, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Client Engagement: Connect with e-commerce business owners to understand their challenges, showcase product value, and become a trusted advisor.
  • Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling demos that highlight ROI and business impact.
  • Outbound Prospecting: Create smart, personalized outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and other channels that drive response and engagement.
  • Customer Feedback Loop: Capture insights from prospects and customers to help refine product positioning, features, and sales strategy.
  • Scalable Sales Process: Contribute to building repeatable, efficient sales workflows that fuel company growth.

Who You Are

  • Sales Experience: 2–5 years in B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Enterprise Exposure: Comfortable selling to mid-market and enterprise clients, preferably in e-commerce or tech.
  • Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication; able to simplify complex concepts and build strong relationships.
  • Creative & Persistent: Innovative approach to prospecting and a relentless drive to close deals.
  • Negotiation Skills: Confident in handling objections, structuring deals, and finalizing contracts.
  • Startup Mindset: Flexible, hands-on, and energized by fast-paced environments.
