Job Description - Account Manager

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 800000 (ie INR 5-8 LPA)

Min Experience: 2 years

Location: Pune

JobType: full-time

We are looking for a strategic and client-focused Account Manager who can seamlessly balance brand strategy, client relationships, and project execution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of creativity and business, understands how strong brands are built, and can confidently lead client conversations while keeping projects moving efficiently.

As an Account Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for multiple client accounts, managing relationships from initial discussions to final delivery. You will collaborate closely with creative, content, and strategy teams to ensure that every project aligns with the client’s business objectives and brand vision. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, communication skills, project management discipline, and the ability to convert abstract ideas into clear and actionable creative direction.

You should be someone who can confidently manage stakeholders, guide branding discussions, and maintain momentum across multiple projects without compromising the quality of work. Candidates with prior experience in branding, advertising, creative agencies, or marketing consultancies will thrive in this environment.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture client relationships across multiple accounts with professionalism and strategic insight.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, from onboarding to final delivery.
  • Lead brand strategy discussions including positioning, messaging frameworks, and narrative development.
  • Develop clear and effective creative briefs that align business goals with creative execution.
  • Coordinate with internal creative, design, content, and strategy teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, feedback cycles, and stakeholder communication efficiently.
  • Participate in client presentations, strategic discussions, and new business pitches.
  • Ensure all creative outputs remain aligned with the client’s brand identity and strategic objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, and long-term partnerships.
  • Translate client requirements and business challenges into actionable marketing and branding solutions.
  • Maintain strong documentation and project tracking processes across accounts.
  • Stay updated on branding, digital marketing, and social media trends to contribute valuable strategic inputs.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 2–3 years of experience in branding, advertising, digital marketing, or marketing consultancy environments.
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and handling communication independently.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, identity development, messaging, and campaign planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience working collaboratively with creative, content, and design teams.
  • Understanding of social media, digital marketing, and integrated branding processes.
  • Ability to convert vague client ideas into clear strategic direction and actionable briefs.
  • Strategic mindset combined with execution-oriented thinking.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Mass Media, or a related field is preferred.
