Accountant

Position: Accountant (Manufacturing Industry)

Our client, a well-established manufacturer specializing in castings, is looking for an experienced Accountant. The ideal candidate should be from Bhilai and have a background in manufacturing, handling both Accounts and GST.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting tasks like payments, invoices, ledgers and bank transactions
• Maintain financial records, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements and cash flow reports
• Ensure accurate taxation records and GST compliance, including filing and reconciliations
• Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Support external audits and tax filings

Qualifications:

• B.Com./M.Com. or similar accounting degree
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a CA firm
• Knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
• Experience with Tally, accounting software, and MS Excel
• Background in manufacturing is preferred
