Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Maintain complete books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and finalization of accounts
  
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  
• Handle day -to -day accounting operations and reporting
  

Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure timely filing of GST returns (GSTR -1, GSTR -3B, etc.)
  
• Manage TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC compliances
  
• Coordinate with tax consultants and statutory auditors
  

Inventory & Costing

• Monitor stock accounting, returns , shortages, and wastage
  
• Reconcile physical stock with system records
  
• Track license fees, and statutory levies
  
• Maintain accurate costing and margin analysis
  

Reconciliation & Controls

• Bank, cash, vendor, and inter -branch reconciliations
  
• Monitor internal controls and highlight discrepancies
  

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with stores, vendors, and management
  
• Prepare MIS reports for management decision -making
  
• Support audits and inspections
