Summary
We are seeking a detail\-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a key role in supporting financial decision\-making, improving fiscal efficiency, and maintaining the integrity of our accounting systems. Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Conduct month\-end and year\-end close processes, including reconciliations of accounts and adjustments
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control policies
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and timely responses
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and generate variance analysis reports
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and coordinate with external tax advisors
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor payments and customer invoicing
- Implement and maintain accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) to enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support strategic planning
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying financial risks
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross\-functional team
