Accountant | Jewellery Industry

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to independently manage day-to-day accounting and jewellery inventory/stock management for a client in the jewellery industry. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, good attention to detail, and preferably prior experience in jewellery, retail, or inventory-based businesses.

The role will involve handling accounting operations, stock records, reconciliations, GST, TDS, and coordination with the client and our internal team.

Key Responsibilities

  Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping

  Maintain and monitor jewellery inventory and stock records
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Handle stock inward and outward entries
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Perform regular stock reconciliation and identify discrepancies
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Manage GST and TDS-related accounting and compliance
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate with the client and internal accounting team
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Independently manage the client's accounts and inventory under overall supervision and guidance from our team
  
  

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Proven experience as an Accountant
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and ledger reconciliation
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in inventory and stock management
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Candidates with jewellery industry or retail accounting experience will be preferred

  Ability to independently handle accounting and inventory responsibilities
