Job Description - Accounts Executive

Company Profile

Nextgen is a UK based company that provides services for mobile operators world-wide. We are a growing company with about 300+ employees and offices in Europe, Asia, India, Cairo and the US. Our core competency is the provision of services around the commercial aspects of mobile roaming, in particular data and financial clearing. Our services are based on proprietary software and operated centrally. The software is based on Web and Oracle technology and its main purpose consists in processing and distribution of roaming data, settlement of charges between the operators and providing business intelligence applications to our customers.

Role Purpose & Context

Providing Support to Operations on Banking Admin Activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate records of all daily transactions. (FX Accounts)
  • Input the payment transfers into the banking system.
  • Perform Monthly “Foreign Exchange Accounts” Reconciliation
  • Returned Payments Handling- Liaise with the operator/Bank to find the reason for the return and resubmit the returned payment to the partner/customer.
  • Liaising with internal or external parties concerning banking-related queries\
  • Update internal systems with banking data.
  • Performs other duties related to banking as and when required.
  • Work to deadlines when required.
  1. Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  2. Effective Communication skills. Clear, concise, and professional communication with clients and banks is vital for the process.
  3. Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
  4. Sharp time management skills
  5. Advanced MS Excel skills
  6. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance and accounting.
  7. Flexibility, initiative, and ability to work autonomously.
  8. Fresher or Experience of 1-1.5 years will be an additional benefit.
