Job Description - Accounts Executive

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Retrieving daily bank statement & uploading files in Oracle.
  • Preparing bank reconciliation and posting payments & receipt entries in SAP/Oracle.
  • Preparing Outstanding check report.
  • Recording Cash clearing activities.
  • Monitoring CFC/OCM ticket mailbox & responding to open emails.
  • Posting month end accrual entries- Outstanding Checks & Supplier Financing Accrual
  • Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in support of month-end closing activities for multiple business units, using BlackLine, and ensuring proper documentation is obtained
  • Respond to inquiries regarding open bank transactions.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and analysis as requested
  • Maintain applicable SOX controls
  • Ensure all supporting documentation is in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines
  • Consistently evaluate areas for process improvement.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

Required Qualifications:

  • Inter CA /Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance preferably with additional professional qualifications
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in journal accounting
  • Experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Must possess strong analytical skills
  • Competency with Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel functions
  • Experience with Oracle or other ERP accounting systems and fixed asset software
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment and with teams in different countries
