The Accounts Head is a senior leadership position responsible for managing and overseeing the full spectrum of accounting operations within an organization. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, developing and maintaining accounting policies, and supporting strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the accounting department, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Develop, implement, and enforce accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Manage budgeting processes, monitor expenditures, and provide insights to support strategic financial planning.
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate business performance and support executive decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with statutory laws and tax regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, tax advisors) to ensure financial integrity.
• Mentor and guide the accounting team, fostering skill development and continuous improvement.
