Accounts Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant Officer to manage day-to-day accounting operations while also supporting administrative and compliance-related activities. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals and be willing to handle additional administrative responsibilities. Training will be provided for non-accounting tasks.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Accounting

• Pass Purchase Entries accurately in the accounting system.
  


• Pass Journal Entries and other accounting adjustments as required.
  


• Handle GST accounting, reconciliations, and compliance activities.
  


• Manage TDS accounting, deductions, and related documentation.
  


• Perform regular Bank Reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
  


• Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and supporting financial records.
  


• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  


• Coordinate with management, auditors, and consultants for accounting, taxation, and compliance requirements.
  

Note: Sales entries are not part of this role.

Administrative Responsibilities (Training Provided)

• Maintain and organize important business, legal, and compliance-related documents.
  


• Assist management with certification, documentation, and other administrative compliance tasks as required.
  

Candidate Profile

• B.Com, or equivalent qualification.
  


• 2.5–3+ years of relevant experience.
  


• Responsible, sincere, and detail-oriented.
