Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Controller to lead our accounts payable team and enhance our financial processes. This role will oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments while developing and implementing best practices for efficiency. Your leadership will be critical in maintaining strong vendor relationships and contributing positively to our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective processing of invoices and payments.
• Oversee and improve the accounts payable process, from receipt of invoice to payment and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and resolve discrepancies in invoices and vendor accounts in a timely manner.
• Prepare and present accounts payable reports to management, highlighting trends and issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance overall financial performance.
• Support year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
