Description The Acquisition Manager – Business Banking is responsible for driving the growth of the deposit base and cross-selling financial products to business banking customers. This role involves managing branch operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and achieving profitability targets. The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience in retail liabilities, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of financial markets and instruments.
Responsibilities Enhance the deposit pool by acquiring and managing business banking customers. Drive cross-selling of non-deposit products including mutual funds, insurance, and other third-party offerings. Generate fee income through effective product penetration and customer engagement. Promote and sell business banking solutions such as CMS, POS, and other transaction services. Ensure high standards of customer service and operational delivery at the branch. Oversee branch administration and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance norms. Manage productivity and morale of branch team members to achieve business objectives. Take ownership of branch profitability, break-even, and P&L performance. Liaise with product, marketing, and support teams for service enhancements and new product initiatives.
