Milliman is seeking actuarial professionals to join our life insurance consulting practice based in Gurgaon. This role is ideal for candidates with 3-7 years of experience in actuarial modelling, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, challenging and rewarding environment alongside a global team of experts.
Key responsibilities:
Work closely with our team of consultants working across the globe, while delivering high-quality projects to our global client base
Work on a diverse range of actuarial projects (actuarial modelling, valuations, pricing, business planning, mergers and acquisitions amongst others)
Contribute to research and drive innovative new solutions
Work effectively and efficiently in project teams led by senior actuaries
Help develop and maintain client relationships
Work in a flexible, but fast-paced environment
Ideal candidate profile:
Significant experience of actuarial modelling (ideally on FIS Prophet®), with knowledge of modelling best practices, modelling techniques, model validation, and model documentation
Ability to take ownership of a technical challenge and see it through to a successful conclusion
Excellent analytical and communication skills
3-7 years of relevant professional experience
Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc.)
Significant progress on examinations from a recognized professional body/institute
Knowledge of actuarial software and commonly used software is preferred
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment as well as independently with minimum supervision
Driven and self-motivated
