Role Description

Infrastructure Provisioning & Infrastructure as Code
Design, build, and maintain modular
Terraform
infrastructure spanning multi-environment Azuredeployments (dev → test → silo → production) with consistent naming conventions, tagging standards,and environment isolation.
Author and own
30+ reusable Terraform modules
covering AKS clusters, networking (hub-spoke VNettopology, NSGs, UDRs, private endpoints, private DNS zones), Key Vault, PostgreSQL Flexible Server,Azure SQL, APIM, ACR, Static Web Apps, and observability stacks.
Implement and enforce
private-first connectivity
patterns — private endpoints for all PaaS services,Private Link, Private DNS zone integration, and forced-tunnel routing through hub firewalls (Palo Alto).
Manage Terraform remote state backends, run drift detection pipelines, and maintain IaC approvalgates across environments.
Provision and configure
Azure Virtual Machines and VM Scale Sets
for legacy application workloads(IIS / SQL Server on Windows Server) alongside modern containerized platforms — understanding thetrade-offs and operational requirements of both.
Translate architecture designs into deployable infrastructure — resource groups, subscriptions,management groups, policy scopes, and RBAC assignments

Qualifications

Qualifications 

•    3-5 years of work experience in relevant field
•    B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
