Admission Officer – New Delhi


 


About the role


The Admissions Officer will facilitate Admissions Function for Navitas Business Units under the UPE umbrella. They will also be a part of the broader Compliance and Admissions teams. The Admissions Officer will work with colleges to carry out the role of processing applications via a defined series of processes and systems, establishing strong links with Colleges and Universities based colleagues and Source Country Office (SCO) staff in South Asis Region.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Pre-screen applications from High-Risk regions, as and when requested by colleges, with the 1st attempt made within 24-48 hrs of receiving a request/application.

  • Issue correct Conditional Offers where feasible.

  • Make Conversion calls to CO holders to help them meet all conditions (until they are ready for an interview) well within time for an intake.

  • Follow up with the Compliance Team (Service Hubs) to conduct interviews and share outcome of CO holders who have met all conditions.

  • Send Rejection/UO to students/agents as per interview outcomes.

  • Actively participate in College’s Team Meetings to stay abreast with all changes/updates/processes.

  • Always maintain data of offers/conversion. Provide data as and when asked.

  • Ensure all the above activities are conducted with a decided TAT.


Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience



  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of front-line customer relationship management

  • Administration or data processing experience, along with file management skills

  • Proven ability as a team player’, and a ‘can-do’ mindset with proactive style of working

  • Proven ability to organise own workload and effectively multitask

  • Strong verbal and written English language communication skills

  • Effective interpersonal skills with a variety of cultural and ethnic stakeholder groups

  • Computer literacy skills inclusive of demonstrated competence with the Microsoft Office suite – PowerPoint, Excel (pivot & data filtering, in specific), Word and Outlook

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of equal opportunity, equity and workplace health and safety principles

  • Strong attention to detail – particularly with regards to understanding policy and procedure

  • A conviction to providing the very best customer service
