AEM Developer - Technical Architect / Sr Technical Architect

This is an IT Developer position with responsibility to provide coding and support for the Global Information Technology Marketing AEM system. Reports to Sr. Manager and Sr. Tech Architect.Partners with 3rd party vendors and internal IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop, implement and configure web content management solutions using Adobe.Experience Manager and technologies such as Java, HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, and web services

● Assist internal and vendor teams in achieving strategic e-business objectives through technology solution implementation, taking a technical leadership role in some circumstances.

● Deliver high quality development services to growing marketing needs.

● Understand the Company’s technical environment and how we use technology to across multiple platforms

● Provide input into estimating engagement activities and execute engagements following the Agile methodology including SCRUM.

● Document knowledge and best practices.

● Proactively gain a level of technical expertise through internally and externally available learning opportunities as applicable as well as self-study.

Basic Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field

● Minimum of 3 years Web development experience

● 2 years experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Application Frameworks i.e. Spring, OSGI, Sling; Agile framework with SCRUM

● Java Development experience in a team environment.

● Experience in the development of Java Server Pages and related technologies

● Experience in HTML, DHTML, CSS and Javascript

● Knowledge of Java IDEs and source control management

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as customer relationship building skills.

● Adapt to and work effectively with a variety of engagements and in challenging situations.

● Desire to participate in and help build and strengthen a team-oriented environment.

● Strong adherence to a consistent delivery methodology and associated deliverable generation.

● Administration and debugging of Web servers, e.g. Apache is a plus.

● Experience with Object-Oriented Programming Methodology & Practice, ideally with designing and programming of applications using Object Oriented Programming. Methodology utilizing Java language constructs.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Adobe Certification

● Adobe Assets

● UI development with CSS3 HTML5 and Javascript libraries
