## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm India Private Limited\n\n## Job Area:\n\nEngineering Group, Engineering Group \u003e Systems Engineering\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\n * We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Engineer (1\u20132 year\u0027s experience) to join our AI Camera Systems team at Hyderabad.\n * The role focuses on building AI-driven imaging solutions for real-time embedded systems(Mobile, IOT, XR).\n * You will work on development \u0026 integration of deep learning\u2013based imaging algorithms into production camera pipelines, with strong emphasis on performance, latency, and hardware efficiency.\n * This role is ideal for engineers who combine strong fundamentals in computer vision and deep learning with low-level embedded system development, and who enjoy translating AI algorithms into real-world, device-level solutions.\n * You will collaborate closely with hardware, software, model, tuning, testing \u0026 customer engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable imaging features across the complete chipset development \u0026 commercialization life cycle.\n\n\n\nRoles \u0026 Responsibilities\n\n * Develop, integrate, and optimize deep learning\u2013based imaging solutions for embedded camera systems\n * Implement \u0026 optimize computer vision and image processing pipelines for real-time execution\n * Work on deploying and optimizing deep learning models for imaging tasks such as enhancement, detection, segmentation and other ISP-related features\n * Translate AI models into performance-optimized embedded implementations, considering memory, latency, and power constraints\n * Leverage GPU, DSP, and other hardware accelerators to accelerate AI and imaging workloads\n * Collaborate with model \u0026 framework teams to design hardware-aware AI solutions aligned with sensor, ISP, and SoC capabilities\n * Work with embedded OS concepts including processes, threads, memory management, and scheduling\n * Design, implement, and debug inter-process communication (IPC) mechanisms in complex camera systems\n * Participate actively in SDLC, including requirement analysis, design reviews, development, testing, integration, debugging, and performance tuning\n * Analyze and resolve system-level issues related to image quality, AI inference performance, stability, and scalability\n * Strong foundation \u0026 hands-on in C, C++ \u0026 Python\n * Hands-on with Qualcomm-based platforms, understanding camera subsystems, DSP offload, and SoC-level optimization, would be a plus.\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
