About the Job:

The mission of the AI Listings & Reputation Specialist is to help local businesses enhance their online presence by managing accurate listings and building a strong, trusted reputation. You will be instrumental in boosting visibility across local search platforms and proactively engaging with online reviews to drive customer trust and engagement. This role is a key enabler of business growth through improved local SEO, strategic AI-enabled workflows, and positive brand perception. You’ll contribute to Vendasta’s goal of transforming local economies by enabling great digital experiences for small- and medium-sized businesses.

Your Impact:

Listings Management & Optimization:

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and consistent business listings across major platforms (e.g., Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect, Bing, Yelp, etc.).


• Claim and verify client listings to maximize local search visibility.


• Detect and resolve data discrepancies to prevent SEO issues.
  
  

Reputation Monitoring & Response:

• Monitor and respond to reviews on key platforms like Google, Yelp, Facebook, etc., maintaining alignment with the client’s tone and branding.


• Collaborate with clients to craft empathetic and brand-consistent responses.


• Use AI tools to manage review responses efficiently while ensuring personalization and quality.


• Deploy and manage AI Reputation Managers, balancing automation with human oversight.


• Implement proactive strategies to boost review generation and online sentiment.
  
  

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Track and analyze listing and review performance metrics to inform improvements.


• Deliver clear, actionable reports to clients regarding listing health and reputation status.


• Stay current on algorithm changes, platform updates, and best practices in local SEO and online reputation management.
  
  

AI-Forward Responsibilities

• Leverage AI tools for review monitoring and response generation with consistent quality and tone.


• Set up automated workflows for listings and review management using Vendasta’s AI products.


• Participate in prompt iteration, performance tuning, and identification of new automation opportunities.


• As part of career growth, progressively build AI knowledge to transition into roles like AI Automation Specialist.
  
  

What you bring to the table:

• In-depth understanding of local SEO best practices, including citation management and NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) consistency.


• Knowledge of review management strategies, online reputation monitoring, and local listing platforms (e.g.,Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect, Bing, Yelp, TripAdvisor).


• Willingness and ability to learn and transition into the AI Automation Specialist role as part of career progression, contributing to process automation and optimization across all content services.


• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage and respond to reviews in a manner that aligns with brand tone and values.


• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple listings and reputation projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.


• Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to generate reports and draw insights from local SEO and reputation management performance metrics.


• Ability to quickly and effectively resolve discrepancies or issues with online listings and reviews.


• Keen attention to detail in maintaining accurate listings and consistent online presence across various platforms.


• Capacity to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to improve local visibility and reputation outcomes.


• 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, local SEO, listings management, or reputation management.


• Prior experience with digital tools for listing and review management preferred.
