Design, prototype manufacturing of VTOL Aircrafts (Fixed Wing/Hybrid)
Using mathematics, scientiï¬c, and engineering principles to design, modify, and improve Aircrafts component parts, facilities, materials, safety regulations, and manufacturing processes
Researching and analyzing information to develop designs and solve problems
Testing Aircrafts to ï¬nd and correct potential problems and to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and functionality requirements
Designing and assembling control panels, propulsion systems, guiding systems, and other necessary parts and systems
Carry out the design of experiments for the different aircraft models
Coordinating activities with production, research, testing, and other departments to optimize safety and eï¬ciency
Rapid Prototyping by using various methods (i.e. 3D Printers, Foam Core Glass Fiber manufacturing)
Analyzing Flight Logs and modifying the next design for necessary improvements
Developing safety and quality standards, budgets, and timelines and ensuring projects comply with these regulations
Carry out the trade studies
Work on Multi-disciplinary optimization
Carry out Load calculations and aero-elasticity parameter
Work on Semi-empirical optimization
Estimation of the aircraft performance, dynamic stability and aerodynamics
Writing design proposals, reports, manuals, and other technical documents
Integrating custom payloads including both mechanical and electrical integrations
Staying current on industry developments, technology, materials, trends, and regulations
The ability to multi-task and seamlessly transition between different projects is essential
Individuals should be self-starter and willing to take full responsibility for delivering fully-functional and quality Aircraft designs.
Bachelor's/Master’s/PHD degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, mathematics or related ï¬elds may be preferable
3-8 years’ experience in the ï¬xed wing/hybrid Aircraft designing & prototyping and ï¬ying
Advanced proï¬ciency in Aerodynamics, Flight Dynamics, Control Systems
Experience with design for manufacturing and production processes (Mold Manufacturing, Composite Mfg.).
Advanced knowledge of aeronautical machines, including aeroplanes, rockets, spacecraft, helicopters, and all types of Aircrafts
Experience with XFLR5, XFOIL, Javafoil, Flow five, Advanced Aircraft Analysis tools etc
Intermediate to expert-level background using CAD software such as Autodesk, Fusion, Catia, NX Siemens, Solidworks.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess problems quickly and easily
Ability to work collaboratively and seek assistance to solve problems
Should have knowledge about the various flight rules such as FAA, DGCA, Military standards
Proven experience working within different operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and MacOS
Demonstrate Accountability and Commitment in securing Quality, Delivery and Product feature
Good communication skills, Learning on fly, Team player, Emphasis on Detailing & Problem-solving skills
