The Assistant Manager - HR & Talent Acquisition is responsible for attracting and hiring high-quality, competent professionals in Grants, Health & Scholarships. This role involves managing the full recruitment life cycle, from sourcing and pre-screening to interview coordination, offer extension, and new employee onboarding. The incumbent will play a key role in building a strong workforce that aligns with the organization's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Source candidates through various channels such as job portals, professional networks, referrals, and press advertisements.
Screen and shortlist candidates based on job requirements, conducting initial telephonic or personal interviews as needed.
Effectively communicate the organization's philosophy, vision, and job descriptions to potential candidates.
Coordinate all candidate communication and logistics, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
Maintain and update a comprehensive candidate database on a daily basis.
Develop and maintain a strong network to identify and source both active and passive candidates.
Generate and present recruitment reports on a timely basis to track key metrics.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree is a must.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively across different functions.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Database Management: Proficiency in database management and record-keeping.
Confidentiality: Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding all human resources matters.
