About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven professional to support and strengthen government and stakeholder engagement efforts for a long-term career readiness and youth development initiative.

This role is central to building and nurturing strategic partnerships with government departments, NGOs, educational institutions, and industry stakeholders to integrate career awareness and readiness into the mainstream education ecosystem. The position requires strong relationship-building, structured execution, and the ability to operate effectively across diverse stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Government Liaison & Advocacy

  • Act as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders at district and state levels.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and coordinate meetings with relevant government departments.
  • Organize and facilitate district and state-level stakeholder engagements to support system-level adoption of career education initiatives.
  • Present and communicate the long-term career readiness and sustainability strategy to government officials.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with government stakeholders to support integration within education systems.

2. Strategic & Industry Partnerships

  • Develop and manage partnerships with NGOs, educational institutions, and industry stakeholders to expand program impact.
  • Support and co-lead partnership discussions, proposals, and strategic engagements with internal teams.
  • Initiate collaborations with industry leaders to enhance career exposure and readiness opportunities for youth.
  • Engage industry professionals as champions and contributors to the program.
  • Develop and maintain partnership materials including pitch decks, proposals, MoUs, and reports.

3. Communication & Documentation

  • Create clear, structured, and impactful communication materials for diverse stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of meetings, including minutes, action points, and follow-ups.
  • Respond to queries and concerns from government and partner stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure consistent and high-quality stakeholder communication across all engagement points.

4. Planning & Reporting

  • Develop structured and time-bound engagement plans aligned with long-term strategic objectives.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Adapt approaches based on feedback, insights, and field realities.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to internal teams on partnership progress and outcomes.

5. Collaboration & Values

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment, coordination, and shared ownership.
  • Demonstrate accountability, integrity, and transparency in all engagements.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive working style with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support a culture of reflection, learning, and continuous improvement.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree with 5+ years of experience in public policy, government relations, partnerships, or related fields.
  • Proven experience working with multi-stakeholder environments including government, NGOs, and educational institutions.
  • Strong understanding of government systems, processes, and protocols in India.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of local language is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across assigned locations (non-negotiable).
  • Flexibility to work based on stakeholder schedules and field requirements.
  • Strong passion for youth development, education, and social impact.
