Job Description – Grid Connectivity

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Grid Connectivity Engineer with 10 years of proven expertise in power evacuation and grid connectivity for large -scale solar and BESS projects.
The candidate must be an Electrical Engineer with hands -on experience in feasibility studies, designs, approvals, and liaisoning with CTU/STU/CEA/CERC and other statutory bodies for ISTS/InSTS connectivity.
This role is crucial for ensuring seamless grid connectivity and compliance for our renewable projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct feasibility studies for grid connectivity of solar and solar+BESS projects.
• Prepare detailed grid connectivity reports, studies, and documentation for submission to CTU/STU/CEA/CERC.
• Carry out power evacuation planning, including technical assessment of substations, transmission lines, and load flow analysis.
• Review of Single Line Diagrams (SLD), general arrangements, and equipment layouts and design for power evacuation systems.
• Voltage level for gird connectivity shall be 33KV, 66KV, 132KV, 220KV, 400KV, 765KV etc.
• Coordinate and liaise with CTU, STU, SLDC, RLDC, and other statutory bodies for connectivity approvals.
• Prepare and submit applications, DPRs, and technical documents for approvals.
• Responsible for regulatory compliance with CEA/CERC guidelines and relevant standards.
• Evaluate and finalize compliances of technical specifications, datasheets, designs and approvals related to grid connectivity.
• Provide technical support during tendering/bidding for connectivity -related aspects. Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10 years of experience in total and 5 years relevant experience in grid connectivity, power evacuation, design & approvals for renewable energy (solar/BESS) projects.
• In -depth knowledge of CTU/STU grid procedures, CEA/CERC guidelines, and regulatory requirements, approvals, and overall compliances.
• Strong technical expertise in SLD design, transmission system planning, and equipment drawings.
• Hands -on experience in liaisoning and coordination with CTU/STU/CEA/CERC.
• Excellent in MS Office & documentation, analytical and communication skills.
