W Health has set up India’s first healthcare focused Venture Studio called  2070Health - an innovation platform that builds transformative healthcare companies from scratch by discovering disruptive opportunities in whitespaces. Distinct from the accelerator approach, our venture studio is closely involved in idea generation, day-to-day operations, and strategic decisions of growing the new business. Companies incubated in the last 24 months include Elevate Now, Nivaan Care, Reveal Healthtech , BabyMD and Everhope Oncology.

Position: Analyst, New Ventures

Experience: 3-4 Years

Location: Mumbai/ Delhi

Responsibilities:

Opportunity assessment and ideation:

• Stay up to date on latest trends and news in healthcare and health-tech
• Analyze market trends to identify areas ripe for disruption to generate ideas
• Identify and network with experts across the healthcare domain to identify new ideas
• Develop innovative business plans for these ideas
• Documents learnings including meeting notes and research insights in a structured manner

Validation and launch

• Create financial models to evaluate business viability and unit economics
• Create pitch decks for investors on the business idea

• Identify patients and doctors who will benefit from the concept through creative methods
• Onboard patients and doctors for the business by pitching the idea
• Work with founders to launch the business

You should apply if:

• you have an undergraduate degree from a top school & experience of 3-4 years
• you are great at primary/ secondary research and are curious to learn about healthcare and health-tech space
• you enjoy working on business models and financial projections
• you have strong analytical skills and critical thinking (we will be doing a lot of ideation and brainstorming)
• you have strong communication skills (we will be speaking with experts, senior leaders and customers every day)
• you are someone who enjoys conversations with patients to understand their pain points
• you are someone who enjoys local travel to meet new doctors
